XINMIN CHINESE DANCE
GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!
YES FINALLY!!!
thank you to everyone who has supported XMCD in one way or another.
it gave us confidence.
what an emotional day it has been.
I'm extremly extremly thankful for what has happened
syf was AMAZING
and i'm just....lost for words
since monday,
i couldn't help but think of our syf
scenes of the dance just kept flashing in my mind
and i just couldn't concentrate
i feel the bond
i feel our team spirit
i see the dancers,
i miss the dancers
i just want to cry and hug every single one of you guys
today was just SO HEARTWARMING
when we were told to go down
i saw everyone running
so eager to know the results
tears started flowing down everyone's cheeks
even before the results were announced
and we hugged each other just to cling on to that little glimpse of hope that we will get the honours
i saw how much everyone wanted it.
i saw THE XMCD'S SPIRIT
i felt it.
and it touched my heart so much
that i cried.
and when we finally knew that we were awarded the gold with honours
that moment was....like a dream
it was screams and screams and screams
and more screams!
everyone just jumped for joy!
and cries followed after
but those were tears of joy, happiness
and the thought that all our efforts paid off
its just...so magical
and i've never felt like this before
i want to remember this feeling forever.
this moment where everything just seem so right
i looked into everyone's face
and i saw how much we have grown.
how much we have mature as a team
and how much we have bonded and learnt to work as one.
i was overwhelmed.
and it really touched my heart.
thank you so so much.
we got together
cheered our hearts out together
and shared our joy together.
nothing beats that.
dont ever forget what we've been through just to come so far.
gold with honours did not come easy at all.
remember how we started out
how lousy we were.
how we gradually improve.
and all the scoldings zou laoshi gave us
the tough trainings
and puddles of sweat that were left on the floor
everytime we did the dance once
sweat will be dripping and dripping off everyone's face
remember those ji1 ben3 gong1
those xiao3 tiao4
those zhong1 tiao4
remember how tired we felt after every dance practise
and the muscle aches.
remember how some of us cried because we couldn't do it properly
the high expectations zou laoshi has for us.
how everything was wrong
but slowly, day by day, became right
remember how we thought this dance was impossible?
but we endured through all the pains.
we came face to face with a zillion challenges
we never gave up.
and we fought till the end together.
we believed in ourselves,
we told ourselves that WE CAN DO IT
it was the faith we had in us.
we went to the UCC
and we stunned everyone.
we touched their hearts
and ours as well.
being on stage at that moment was enchanting.
it happened so quickly
and before you know it,
we finished performing.
that 7 minutes onstage was the best 7 minutes we had as a team
it was our best
and it was what we worked hard for.
thats the results of the months after months of training we had.
i miss every single one of you.
i want so much for us to train together again.
tuesdays and wednesdays will never be the same again.
we finally shown everyone what we are made of.
we shine so brightly onstage and prove to everyone that xinmin chinese dancers are different
WE ARE THE BEST.

we've done the teachers proud
and we've acheive so much more than what is expected
most importantly,
we didn't let ourselves down.
WE'VE DONE ZOU LAOSHI PROUD
AND WE'VE DONE OURSELVES PROUD.
i've learnt so much.
i've grown so much.
