woke up early to go for zhou lei laoshi's class
i was like half asleep on the way, couldn't really get up this morning.
anyway today cos we had the combine class, there were a lot of people
and everyone was really squeezing together at the barre
it was so uncomfortable.
and the entire lesson is ballet, actually i expected that liao but i still miss chinese dance!
did normal ballet stuff, it was quite uncomfortable for me at first cos the steps were new to my class people and we had to learn everything on the spot, but after a while it was fine cos the positioning and everything gets quite the same.
and the entire barre on my side was really shaky and everyone on the barre was having quite a hard time using it.
my toe still hurts crap.
today was yet another short class.
did extremly little centre work, just a few jumps only, then across the floor, then finish.
after that they had rehearsal and photoshoot for hua4 die2
i stayed back awhile, and just when i wanted to leave, it started raining heavily! so i stayed for everything, took a lot of photos! but i can't seem to upload now cos my computer is so retarded.
i'll try to upload them tmr.
and i'm so upset that next week's dinghong laoshi's lesson is cancelled AGAIN. like three weeks in a row liao lah, and next week is my last week somemore, so i didn't even get a chance to have my last dinghong laoshi's class ):
after that, ebird and i went to huay kuan!
to help to tend the ticket booth for the huay kuan dance concert.
it was quite okay lah, just sit there and wait for people haha, and we managed to sell tickets haha
feels quite weird sitting right smack at the main entrance of huay kuan.
anyway then we help to close the stall and keep everything after that.
we went to watch the huay kuan rehearsal at xiao2 li3 tang2
my goodness, it was such a great performance!
love EVERY SINGLE dance! love the choreography of all the dances
and everyone dances well lah! i'm so sad that i can't go for the actual performance,
all the dances really had an impact on me, and i really really feel like dancing with them when i watch them, they'll make you smile too (:
i was wowed when i watch the dances, i think it was also because i was so near to everyone, so you can feel the impact even more.
it is a quality performance definately worth watching! and the ticket prices are reasonable too!
EVERYONE MUST BUY TICKETS TO WATCH THE HOKKEIN HUAY KUAN DANCE CONCERT!!!!
xinmin dancers MUST go and watch!!
went for supper with ebird after that.
and ebird i had a really great talk with you tonight,
it was like an endless conversation, can't wait to see you on tuesday! (:
